MTS Written Exam Pattern

The Multi-Tasking Staff written examination consists of 70 marks with OMR-based objective questions, lasting 1½ hours. It covers General Knowledge/Current Affairs, General English, General Mathematics (Class VIII standard), and Assamese language proficiency (20 marks). The Assamese section is qualifying; candidates need at least 40% (8 out of 20) to advance, but these marks will not contribute to the merit list.

Computer Assistant Exam Pattern

The computer assistant written examination consists of 120 marks over a duration of 2 hours, assessing technical knowledge (50 marks), English proficiency (20 marks), general knowledge (20 marks), aptitude and reasoning (10 marks), and Assamese language proficiency (20 marks). The Assamese segment is qualifying, requiring candidates to score at least 40% (8 out of 20). Additionally, there is a negative marking penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
