Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026
1. Marital Status
- Only UNMARRIED MALE candidates eligible
- Must remain unmarried during entire 4-year service period
- Marriage during service = Release from service
2. Indian Army Agniveer Age Criteria
- 17 to 22 years (Born between 01 July 2005 to 01 July 2009)
A. Agniveer General Duty (GD)
- Education: Class 10 pass with 45% aggregate in 5 basic subjects and minimum 33% in each
- Age: 17-22 years
- Note: Candidates with LMV/HMV Driving License preferred for driver roles
B. Agniveer Technical
- Option 1: 10+2 Science (Physics, Maths, English) with 50% aggregate
- Option 2: 10+2 Science + 1-year ITI (NSQF Level 4+)
- Option 3: 10th (50% aggregate, 40% in English/Maths/Science) + 2-year ITI or 2-3 year Diploma in specified technical streams
- Age: 17-22 years
Technical Trades Include: Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Mechanic Diesel, Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, Fitter, IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, etc. (20 streams listed)
C. Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical
- Education: 10+2 in any stream with 60% aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject
- Mandatory: 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping

- Special: Typing Test required (30 WPM in English)
D. Agniveer Tradesman (All Arms)

The recruitment process will be conducted in Two Phases:
Phase I – Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
